Girl Scout Cookie Review: Thin Mint Strain

Girl Scout Cookie strain from the “Cookie Family” is one of the most popular strains in America.

The Cookie Family are from Northern California the San Francisco area.

The group is a collective of a bunch of growers that created the strains such as Cherry Pie and Sunset Sherbert.

There is a layer of mystery that surrounds the girl scout cookies on the origins of this Sativa-dominant hybrid.

Half of the Girl Scout Cookies plant roots goes back to the late 1990’s.

From the original OG Kush that came from Florida to southern California known as only “Kush” Later renamed to OG Kush.

It was then paired with a Durban Poison cross with the mystery “F1” strain.

The F1 strain the cookie family always refers to is a secret strain.

They will not give out any more detail on the phenotype of the “F1”. It’s like holding the patent of the strain as no one can recreate the original girl scout cookies without the infamous “F1.”

The origins are discussed in an article from High Times back in 2013.

When one of the writers was invited by the “cookie Family “ to interview them on the origins of the Girl Scout Cookies and also to see some of their production facility.

The article called Inside the Girl Scout cookies.

Unfortunately, the page is no longer working to read. Perhaps High Times can bring the post back online.

A sweet smoke that hits you like a brick, and is enjoyed by many.

Recommended for nausea and pain and stress. On top of that, you are going to have an impressive head buzz.

When trying to find Girl Scout Cookies seeds it can be a little tricky.

Not a lot of seed houses online carry the original , and it is usually sold out due to the high demand.

You can find the closest thing to the original brought to you by the BC BUD Depot , Seeds Man or Sensible Seeds.

The plant is rather difficult to grow. At the end of harvest, the rewards are worth the effort for this thin mint Girl Scout Cookies.
